SHOOTING VICTIM DIES

A Ridgeway man who was shot in the head last weekend in Henry County died Monday at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Robert Wayne Scott, 27, had been in critical condition since Friday when he was shot by Jimmy Leon Rigney, 32, of Ridgeway.

Rigney died Friday, also of gunshot wounds suffered in the shooting.

Rigney had gone to Scott's mobile home in Ridgeway on Friday when an argument broke out and Rigney shot Scott in the head with a .38-caliber pistol. He also shot Tracy Dean Clark, 22, who was in the mobile home with Scott.

Clark then pulled out a shotgun and shot Rigney in the chest, according to Henry County Sheriff James Rogers.
