STATE OFFICIAL FRAMME TO SPEAK AT GRADUATION

State Secretary of Economic Development Lawrence H. Framme III will address the 295 graduates at Southwest Virginia Community College's outdoor spring commencement Friday at 7 p.m.

Framme also is chairman of the state Board for Community Colleges. The program will be held outside Dickenson Hall.

He also will take part in economic development meetings in Wise County and Norton arranged by Del. Jack Kennedy, D-Norton, earlier Friday.

Framme will address the Wise County Chamber of Commerce breakfast at 8 a.m. at Clinch Valley College, tour the Norton C&P Directory Assistance Center, and hear presentations from the Norton Industrial Development Authority and recently created St. Paul Industrial Development Authority.
