CALLAHAN, JULIAN J.\ Julian James Callahan, age 92, of Vinton died Monday evening, May 7, 1990. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence, and a son Warren. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Zelma T. Callahan, Vinton; two sisters, Hazel Powell, Vinton; Bea Comer, Lynchburg; a brother, Howard Callahan, Pompano Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Sara Callahan, Vinton; Judy and Phil Gruber, Bedford; a great-granddaughter, Jillian Rae Gruber. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10 with the Rev. Jesse Chance officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
