OBIT YOUNG, B.

Mrs. Bessie B. Young, age 92, died Tuesday, May 8, 1990, at Eldercare of Franklin County. Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Lula Scott, Ferrum; Peggy and Sherman Lacks, Rocky Mount; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Eldridge Young, Greensboro, N.C.; Otha (Big O) and Katie Young, Rocky Mount; Russell and Ruth Young, Roanoke; one sister, Emma Fulcher, Danville; one brother, Charlie Woods, Ferrum; eight grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Lynch Chapel with the Rev. Richard Harrell and Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in St. James United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
