DYSON NAMED ODAC'S TOP LACROSSE PLAYER

Roanoke's David Dyson was named Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's lacrosse player of the year and Maroons coach Bill Pilat was named coach of the year in balloting conducted by the league's coaches.

Dyson, a midfielder, was one of five Maroons named to the allODAC team. Also honored were attacker Will Goldthwaite, midfielder Chris Pollock, defenseman Mark Lawrence and goalie Steve Mason. Roanoke finished in first place in the league with a 5-0 conference record.

Washington and Lee had four players named to the team: attacker Chris Mastrogiovanni, midfielder Carlos Millan, and defenseman Mike Nunan and Reid Campbell.
