BROWN BAG LUNCHEONS

The Mental Health Association of Roanoke Valley is sponsoring a series of "Brown Bag Luncheons" on various aspects of the mental health of children and adolescents. The luncheons will be held Wednesdays during May, which is Mental Health Month.

Today, "Know Someone Suicidal? - What to Do," will be addressed by Dr. Robert Lanahan, a licensed clinical psychologist at Lewis-Gale Clinic. On May 16, Virginia Hardin, coordinator of Prevention Plus at Mental Health Services, will discuss "Substance Abuse and Your Child." On May 23, Debbie Pardee, director of the adolescent program at Roanoke Valley Psychiatric Center, will discuss "Teen Involvement in Satan Worship."

All presentations will be from 12:15-1 p.m. in Training Room B (fourth floor) of Crestar Plaza, 510 S. Jefferson Street. Bring lunch.
