OBIT MOORE, J.

James Emmett Moore, age 80, died Tuesday in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born April 28, 1910, in Rockbridge County. He was the son of the late John Liley and Emma Belle Smith Moore. He was a member House Mountain Chapel and a retired farmer. He is survived by one sister, Nanny Carter, Buena Vista; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James M. Williams and Dr. L. Randoph Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in New Monmouth Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
