ROANOKE WOMEN WIN ODAC LACROSSE AWARDS

Roanoke College swept the top honors in women's lacrosse for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

The Maroons' Mary Brown was named player of the year after finishing the regular season with 37 goals and 25 assists.

Tracy Coyne, who guided Roanoke to a 17-0 record and a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament in her first season, was named coach of the year.

Joining Brown on the first team were Roanoke's Stacey Stude, Katie Treacy and Kiki Chesterton; Washington and Lee's Shawn Wert and Melissa Manko; and Hollins' Andi Oki.
