RINALDI WINS TWICE AT HORSE SHOW

Marilyn Rinaldi won two championships Wednesday during the first session of the 1990 Bonnie Blue National Horse Show at the Virginia Horse Center.

Rinaldi, of Purcellville, won in the Morgan and Saddlebred in-hand classes. Her STK Cajun Command, a two-year-old colt, was grand champion stallion, and Heatherstone Morgan's Corinthian in Demand took the gelding championship.

Frank Cash of Lexington was pleased with a second-place showing his Morgan colt, Ridgefield's Sky Guy, made in the young stallion class.

A Roanoke horse, Fashion Fox, ridden by Claude Shifflett and owned by Pat Bramblett trotted off with the blue ribbon in the open three-gaited competition, narrowly topping well-known trainer and rider Cash Lovell Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C.

Competition will run through Saturday, with performances at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. - Staff report
