CRIME LINE

An armed robbery at a Northeast Roanoke convenience store is the subject of this month's Crime Line.

The Hop-In store at 931 Gus Nicks Blvd. was robbed on April 13 about 1:30 a.m. A man entered the store, brandished a small chrome-plated pistol, demanded money and shot the clerk. Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with this and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
