CRAWFORD TOURNAMENT DRAWS 143 TEAMS

A total of 143 teams competed recently in the 10th annual Miller Lite Chance Crawford slow-pitch softball tournament.

The winners, by division, are as follows:

Men's Class A&B - King's Auto of Lynchburg defeated the Lynchburg Independents.

Men's Class C - Athletic House (Bristol), first; Cin-Ter Restaurant (Roanoke County), second; AVCO (Roanoke County, third.

Men's Class D National - Prestige (Bedford), first; M&W (Rocky Mount), second; Patrol (Bedford), third.

Men's Class D American - Pizarro's (Floyd), first; The Homeplace (Roanoke County), second; Ray's (Floyd), third.

Women's Class C - Once Was of Roanoke defeated Monte Carlo of Lynchburg.

Women's Class D - Owens Market (Lynchburg), first; Boggs (Manassas), second; Westvaco (Alleghany County), third.
