ACHIEVEMENT CENTER OFFERS SUMMER PROGRAM

The Achievement Center, a school for children with learning disabilities, offers a summer program for students who need educational help.

Summer '90 is open to children ages 6-15 and offers reading, math and swimming. The program is open to students diagnosed as having learning disabilities, as well as to children suspected of having learning disabilities or who need extra help in the ares of reading, spelling or arithmetic. A multi-sensory approach is used in teaching reading and math.

The program begins June 19 and runs for six weeks. Hours are daily from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The registration deadline is June 8. For more information, call Director Barbara Ann Whitwell at 982-0128.
