BROWN BAG ARTS SERIES BEGINS IN JUNE

The Arts Council of Roanoke Valley will present its Brown Bag Arts lunchtime performance series beginning June 22 from 12:15 to 1 p.m. on consecutive Fridays in Crestar Plaza behind the Crestar Bank Building on Franklin Road.

Scheduled are:

June 22, Idlewild with traditional music; June 29, Let the Good Times Roll with ragtime jazz; July 6, Ross Humphries Trio with jazz; July 13, Lowe & Stowe Productions with original work and African music; July 20, Peace Child with theater excerpts; July 27, Mill Mountain Theatre with excerpts from "Magic To Do"; August 3, Curley Ennis with traditional music; August 10, Starwood, a classical guitar and flute duo; August 17, the Noel C. Taylor Community Choir with gospel music; and August 24, the Quintessential Brass Trio of horn, trombone, trumpet.
