TRUCK FIRM PLANS BIGGER TERMINAL

B&S Transportation Services Inc., a Cloverdale truckload shipping company, has bought a 2.5-acre tract for an expanded terminal in Botetourt Industrial Park. A $50,000 terminal office will be built next to Bova Distributing and Carolina Steel, said Bob Hart, president of the trucking company.

Hart said 20 to 25 trailers will be parked at the terminal and another 15 to 20 trucks will stop there in a typical day. The terminal will have rail access. Part of the tract will be held for future expansion, he said. The firm has five employees and 60 truck owner-operators. - Staff report
