BLUESMAN AT THE ELLINGTON

Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown will bring his "American and world music - Texas style" to the Ellington Fellowship Playhouse May 12. In "Standing My Ground," his new recording on Alligator Records, the 70-year-old Brown explores big-band swing, down-home blues, funk, jazz and zydeco.
