James M. Braxton, of 6852 Thirlane Rd., N.W., died Wednesday, May 9, 1990, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Constance A. Braxton, Roanoke; three sons, James Edward Braxton, Cleveland, Ohio; Larry Braxton, Roanoke; William Braxton, Roanoke; two daughters, Miss Lois Braxton, Cleveland, Ohio; Miss Cephonia Williams, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Lapsley Run Baptist Church with the Rev. Ulas N. Broady officiating. Burial will be in Lapsley Run Cemetery, Botetourt County. The family will receive friends from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Fizer Funeral Home.
