BRUCE, MARGARET W.

\ PULASKI - Mrs. Margaret Wilson Bruce, age 89, of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., and formerly of Pulaski, died Thursday, May 10, 1990 at her home. Born in Point Pleasant, W.Va., December 31, 1900, the daughter of the late Joseph Templeton Wilson and Katie Fellers Wilson, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ephriam Campbell Bruce. Mrs. Bruce was a resident of Pulaski for 56 years, where she was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, having served in many other capacities. She was a charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and the D.A.R. She served as Girl Scout Commissioner for two terms and remained active in Girl Scout work for 40 years. She is survived by one son, Joseph Byron Bruce, Daytona Beach Shores, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Walter H. (Charlotte) Thomas, Cocoa, Fla.; Mrs. J. Don (Ellen Kate) Hall, Clemmons, N.C.; one sister, Virginia Wilson Linkous, Rockledge, Fla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Weikel officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visiting will be Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Randolph Avenue United Methodist Church or the Fund for the Area Needy of the First United Methodist Church.
