OBIT-JOHNSON, G.

Johnson, Gary L. Lexington Gary Lee Johnson, age 27, died Friday at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. Born September 8, 1962, in Petersburg, he was the son of Jack L. and Anne Cole Johnson of Lexington. He was a member of Kerrs Creek Baptist Church, a former member of Kerrs Creek Fire Department, and was a member of the K&W Office Supply and Blevins Texaco Bowling Teams. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Stanley Johnson of Lexington; one sister, Janet Johnson of Lexington; maternal grandmother, Ethel Cole of Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Hamric officiating. Burial will follow in the New Monmouth Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
