Ellis Carlyle Myers, age 78, of 4956 Fort Lewis Church Rd., Salem, died
Friday. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Mayhew Myers; two sons, Edward C.
Myers and James T. (Jimmy) Myers, both of Richmond; eight grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren. Memorial funeral services will be conducted Sunday
at 3:00 p.m. at the Glenvar Baptist Church with the Rev. David N. Neal
officiating. Funeral arrangements by the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home of
Salem.
