HODGES, HANEY M., SR.\ Haney M. Hodges, Sr., age 93, of 2025 Twin Oaks, died Friday at his residence. He was a retired dairy farmer from the Cripple Creek Community of Wythe County. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Jones Hodges, Pulaski; two daughters, Betty Nell Neece, South Boston; Doris Sage, Waldorf, Md.; three sons, Wayne Hodges, Sebring, Fla.; James Hodges, Hanover, Md.; H.M. Hodges, Jr., Pulaski; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the Mount Hope United Methodist Church in Fries, Va., conducted by the Rev. Dean Tibbs and the Rev. Bill E. Hinton, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The remains will be placed in the church one hour before service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, Fries, Va.; the Alders Gate United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Pulaski, Va; or to the New River Valley Hospice, Inc. Blacksburg, Va. The Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
