Joe Carver, age 68, of Roanoke, died Saturday, May 12, 1990. He was retired
from Associated Transport Company. Surviving are one daughter, Diana L.
Carver, Roanoke; one son and daughter-in-law, B. J. and Sherry H. Carver,
Roanoke; three grandsons, Donnie Carver, Joey Carver and Ronnie Carver, all of
Roanoke; one granddaughter, Diana Nicole Carver, Roanoke; one sister, Vevette
Bailey, Hammond, Ind.; one brother, Wilfred Martin of Newburg, N.Y. Funeral
services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 14,
1990. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 to
4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
