STEWART, DAVIS WIN IN COUNTY TOURNAMENT

Carl Stewart and Susan Davis won the singles championships of the Roanoke County "B" Tennis Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Walrond Park.

Stewart defeated Aaron Church 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 in the men's singles title game, and Davis handled Barbara Flanagan 6-1, 6-2 in the women's final.

Klaus Guertler and Hank Highfill won the men's doubles championship, defeating Butch Church and Aaron Church 6-2, 6-2. There was no women's doubles competition.
