EMPLOYER EDUCATION AWARD PRESENTED

Montgomery County Public Schools and Litton-Poly Scientific of Blacksburg have received the Employer Education Program Award from the Virginia Association for Adult and Continuing Education in Virginia.

The award recognizes an employer's commitment to the educational advancement of its employees by working with a public adult- or continuing-education agency.

The award was presented at the annual Adult and Continuing Education Conference banquet in Virginia Beach in April.

Anyone interested in the Adult Basic Education and GED testing programs in the county can call Judy Rutherford, supervisor of pupil personnel services at the Montgomery County School Board office, 382-5100.
