OBIT SIFFORD, S.

Sadie Hutchinson Sifford, age 75, died Tuesday in a Montgomery County Hospital. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Sheppard. Surviving are her husband, Robert H. Sifford, Blacksburg; three sons, Robert V. (Bob) Sifford, Christiansburg; Curtis H. Sifford, Blacksburg; Stanley L. Sifford, Summerville, S.C.; three daughters, Loveda Price, Janet Shaver, both of Blacksburg; Loretta Corvin, Thaxton; one brother, Richard Hutchinson, Christiansburg; three sisters, Virgie Gearhart, Christiansburg; Mae Price, Elliston; Ethel Sheppard, Winston-Salem, N.C.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Sunnyside Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Lane Board officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
