OBIT CONRAD, E.

Elizabeth Kennett Conrad, age 86, of the 1300 Block of Windsor Point Rd., Norfolk, died May 14, 1990, in a local hospital. Mrs. Conrad was a native of Roanoke and a retired executive secretary from the Southern Bank of Norfolk. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Miriam Gruber Circle, United Methodist Women and the Lakewood Garden Club. She was the widow of Walter Paul Conrad, Sr. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Margret C. Murden, Chesapeake; one stepson, Walter P. Conrad, Jr., Norfolk; one sister, Thelma K. Branch, Harrisonburg; one brother, W. Sperry Kennett, Sr., Norfolk; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Eric R. Alexie and the Rev. William J. Burleigh. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 1349 Windsor Point Rd., Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 3031 Luxemboug Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23509. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
