REAGAN SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED

IT IS well-documented that Mr. Reagan raised taxes 16 times in his eight years as president, but he told us he did not.

His first year in office, he proposed a cut of $81.8 billion in Social Security over five years. But he told us many, many times that he did not.

He left us with a $2.5 trillion public debt, with a $150 billion interest payment each year. He saw the defunct savings and loans take $100 billion down the tube.

One might ask how in the world such a fellow got elected president. He did an excellent job quoting HST, FDR and JFK.

Reagan should be investigated. He is wide open for prosecution: His friends set him up in a $15 million home in California. He made two speeches in Japan and got $2 million. Looks like a payoff.

We have just seen Houdini pass by: the only president in history who could swear a lie in court and at the same time be congratulated by the judge.

The big-money blocs did a unique job covering Reagan's trail. The saddest part of all: He is still running the country, telling George what to do. Of course, the rich man is telling Reagan what to tell George.

These crooks have a plan to bust Social Security. Before the decade is out, this federal bailout may cost the taxpayer $200 billion. CHARLIE ROSE ROANOKE
