Mrs. Launia Jackson Millirons, age 79, died Tuesday morning in Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Chilhowie, Va. on July 23rd, 1910. She was the daughter of the late John A. Jackson and Thursia Hale Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wade Millirons. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, and had been active in the Girl Scouts. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Benjamin (Ann) Rudisill, Woodbridge, Va.; four sisters, Lucille Jackson, Lelia J. Summers, Emily J. White, and Margaret J. Deeds, all of Pulaski; three grandchildren, Holly R. Kimberlin, Alan W. Rudisill, and Keith B. Rudisill, all of Woodbridge, Va. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Weikel officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
