OBIT STARKEY, B.

Barbara Jean Starkey, age 56, died Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, at Waverly Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Shirley, officiating. Interment is in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Surviving are, husband, Rev. Posey L. Starkey, Marietta; one son, Staff Sargent Randall R. Starkey, Japan; two daughters, Cynthia Anne Starkey Duncan, Marietta; Kelli Jean Ritz, Carrollton, Texas; her mother, Elsie Rose Watkins, Vinton; two brothers, Robert L. Watkins, Chesterfield, Va.; Bruce Watkins, Roanoke; two sisters, Charlotte Brown, Vinton; Diane McCassill; Roanoke and six grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Jeannie Starkey Memorial Fund, any Georgia Federal Bank. Oakey's Funeral Home, Vinton will handle arrangements.
