TECH ROTC UNIT WINS RANGER CHALLENGE

The Army ROTC Ranger Challenge Team from Virginia Tech recently won the First Region Ranger Challenge Finals.

Ranger Challenge competition categories included physical fitness, rifle marksmanship, hand-grenade assault course, night patrol and a 10,000-meter road march with rucksack.

The region covers the eastern seaboard from Maine to South Carolina and the 139 colleges and universities that sponsor ROTC programs.
