COX, MARTHA W.\ Martha (Jeanne) W. Cox, age 51, 4067 Sunnydale Court, died Thursday, May 17, 1990. She was a member of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, E. Glenn Cox, one daughter, Melissa C. Joynes, Roanoke; one son, Michael A. Cox, Buchanan; one foster son, Charles L. Hicks, St. Louis, Mo.; her mother, Mrs. Eleanor Williams, Cloverdale; two brothers, J. C. Williams, Cloverdale; Robert S. Williams, Hampton; seven grandchildren; a special friend, Reba Sowers. Funeral service will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, with the Rev. Rick Via and the Rev. Steve Witt officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainbow Forest Baptist Church or to the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
