Mrs. Louise Damewood Jenkins, age 66, of Roanoke died Friday, May 18, 1990. She is survived by her husband, Thomas K. Jenkins; mother, Mattie Price; two sons, James Thomas Jenkins, Vinton; Gary Lynn Jenkins, Troutville; one daughter, Patricia Ann Simmons, Vinton; one brother, Melvon Damewood; one sister, Virginia Damewood, both of Roanoke; two half sisters, Elizabeth Mcadoo, Greensboro, N.C.; Thelma Tomlin, Dallas, Texas; stepmother, Virgie Damewood, Salem; son-in-law, Clyde J. Simmons; two daughters-in-law, Joyce F. Jenkins; Delia P. Jenkins; six grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 1:00 p.m. at Lotz Roanoke Chapel with Rev. William M. Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
