James Thomas Donald, age 79, died Friday, May 18, 1990, at his residence. He was born June 4, 1910, and was the son of the late William Henry and Grace Virginia Dixon Donald. He was retired from Lees Carpet and was a member of Elliotts Hill United Methodist Church and the Lexington Moose Lodge. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Clelia D. Agnor, Mrs. Lillian D. Swink, Mrs. Emma D. Moore, Mrs. Dorothy D. Moore and Mrs. Lois D. Irvine, all of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Shirley Wilmore of Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral CHapel with the Rev. Lee V. Ruckman and the Rev. James B. Grimmer. Burial will follow in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Lexington First Aid Crew or Elliotts Hill United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
