CONCERTS AT LIME KILN

Theater at Lime Kiln's new Wednesday concert series kicks off May 30 with an evening of string-band music by The Heartbeats.

The four-woman Heartbeats won first place at the 1989 Galax Fiddlers Convention and were named the most-promising new artist in folk music at the 1988 Philadelphia Music Awards. Their last Lime Kiln performance was two years ago. Tickets for this performance are $10.

Upcoming Wednesday concerts include: June 6, Mary Chapin Carpenter; June 13, John McCutcheon; June 20, Gamble Rogers; June 27, Robin and Linda Williams; July 11, David Bromberg. Concerts will be held in the Baby Bowl, a natural bowl above the main stage. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Picnickers are welcome.

Tickets for Wednesday concerts are $10, $12 or $14; senior citizens, $1 off. For more information, call 463-3074.
