HARRIS, CHARLES F., JR.\ Charles Felix (Chuck) Harris, Jr., age 63, of 621 Lee Street died Saturday, May 19, 1990, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. on March 26, 1927, a son of the late Charles F. Harris, Sr. and Millicent Riehl Harris. He was educated at Rochester Institute of Technology and owned and operated Harris Electric Company in Bedford until his retirement in 1988. He was a charter member of the Bedford Country Club and was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Jo Harris. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kanealey Harris; three sons, John C. (Jackie) Harris and his wife, Maureen, of Virginia Beach; Michael R. Harris and Charles F. (Chip) Harris, III, both of Bedford; a daughter Mary Kay Harris Ward and her husband, Terry, of Pittsford, N.Y.; a brother, Robert R. Harris of Catonsville, Md.; four grandchildren, Martin, Randall and Andrew Ward of Pittsford, N.Y., and Caitlan Harris of Virginia Beach. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with Father James J. Begley officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either the Holy Name of Mary Church Building Fund or the Bedford Life Saving Crew. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home.
