Eugene Carroll (Mac) McCoy, age 72, of Roanoke, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Blandford Masonic Lodge-Petersburg, and a retired resident engineer with the Norfolk & Western Railway. Surviving are his wife, Esther B. McCoy; son, E. Michael McCoy, Roanoke; daughters, Susan McCoy, Lynne Overstreet, both of Roanoke; sister, Iris W. McCoy, Radford; four grandchildren, Ericka and Zack McCoy, Scott and Keith Overstreet. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel with the Revs. Alan and Katherine Rowbotham officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by Lakeland Masonic Lodge. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
