\ Martha Seaman (Mrs. Bland A.) Painter, age 89, of Roanoke, died Sunday, May 20 ,1990 in a Salem hospital., She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E.A. (Lucille) Graybill, Troutville; two sons, Bland A. Painter, Jr., Troutville; Richard H. Painter, Boston, Mass.; one sister, Mr. Loyd Grant, Greenville, Va.; nine grandchildren, Richard Graybill, Martha Morrison, Anne Vassar, Bland Painter, III, Rosanna Myers, Page Weddle, Ann Painter, Elizabeth Painter and John Painter; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 1990 11:00 a.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. John D. Cochran and Dr. E. Ray Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
