JUNE 1 IS DEADLINE GRANT APPLICATIONS

The Virginia Commission for the Arts has set a June 1 deadline for Teacher Incentive Grant applications.

Teacher Incentive Grants provide financial assistance to teachers who wish to explore new ways of incorporating the arts into the basic curriculum. Money may be used to provide special arts resources or programming, to hire artists or arts consultants, or to purchase supplies for specific arts projects.

Any certified elementary or secondary school teacher is eligible to apply.

Application deadline is 5 p.m. on June 1.
