Two women who accepted a ride from a man early Saturday were driven to the 500 block of Patton Avenue and then robbed of about $300.

A Christiansburg man who was driving the 800 block of Hunt Avenue Friday night was approached by a group of about seven teen-agers, some of them carrying knives. The youths demanded that the man get out of the truck. He was then beaten and robbed.

A Roanoke man was robbed of $450 Friday after he accompanied two women and a man to a motel room on Kimball Avenue.

A group of teen-agers approached a man on Chapman Avenue Saturday and demanded money. The man escaped after brandishing a pocket knife at the youths.
