NEW HOTEL GOING UP NEAR I-81 AT BRISTOL

Hampton Inns Inc. and Bristol developer Jack Trayer have announced plans to build a four-story 130-room hotel at the intersection of Interstate 81 and U.S. 11 West, with completion planned for February. Grading and engineering are under way.

Memphis-based Hampton Inns opened its first hotel in 1984. It operates 222 nationally. - Southwest bureau
