Raymond Arthur Folden, age 63, of Roanoke, died Monday, May 21, 1990 in a Roanoke nursing home. He was a member of the Faith Life Baptist Church and V.F.W. Post of Bedford. He was preceeded in death by one daughter, Michelle Farris. He is survived by his wife, Wanda H. Folden, Roanoke; two sons, Kenneth Folden, Fresno, Calif.; Billy Folden, Roanoke; one daughter, Pamela Wood, Roanoke; two stepchildren, Marshall Kelly, Blue Ridge; Rebecca Panter; Newborn, N.C.; two aunts, Estelle Thomas and Hazel Folden; six grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 1990, 3:00 p.m. at the Faith Life Baptist Church with the Pastor Johnny Basham and Patrick Wheeling, officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
