ROANOKER STABBED AFTER ARGUMENT

A Roanoke man was listed in stable condition after he was stabbed in the throat and stomach early this morning, police said.

Ronald Lee Taylor, 29, of the 300 block of Woods Avenue, was stabbed after he got into an argument with another man at 368 Allison Avenue Southwest.

Police said the men had been smoking crack cocaine shortly before the dispute started.

George Edward Quesenberry, 26, of the Allison Avenue address, was charged with malicious wounding.

Taylor was found by police at Franklin and Elm avenues at 12:48 a.m. He was listed in stable condition this morning in the intensive care unit of Community Hospital.
