\ BEDFORD - Viola Hall Durham, age 89, of 1201 Longwood Ave. died Monday, May 21, 1990 in Riverside Regional Convalescent Center in Newport News. She was born in Front Royal, Va. on September 21, 1900, daughter of the late Silas Hall and Emma Jane Laing Hall. She was the widow of Charles Henry Durham, member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the Peaks of Otter Rebekah Lodge #32. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph V. (Virginia) Watson, of Williamsburg; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 1990 with the Rev. Kenneth E. Burger officiating. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Rebekah services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 7:00 p.m. after which the family will receive friends till 8:30 p.m.
