\ Otis A. Tynes, age 54, of 649 Day Avenue S.W., died Monday. He is survived by his son, Otis Jeffrey Tynes, Bent Mountain; his mother, Ida L. Tynes, Roanoke; two grandsons, Jeffrey Andrew Tynes, and Matthew Alan Tynes; two sisters, Mary Weeks and Margaret Outten; and one brother, Willie L. Tynes. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 24 at Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. JoAnn Aliff. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Roanoke Valley S.P.C.A. Arrangements are being made by Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke.
