\ BEDFORD - Zelia Kidd Walters, age 89, died Monday, May 21, 1990, in a High Shoals, Georgia, nursing home. She was the widow of William C. Walters, Sr., and a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, William C. Walters, Jr., Lexington, N.C.; one sister, Thelma K. Kade, Bluefield, W. Va.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth E. Burger officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home.
