ACTING PAIR TO PERFORM IN ONE-MAN SHOWS

Will Stutts, an actor who has researched Edgar Allan Poe and Jonathan Frid, best known for his role as vampire Barnabas Collins on the "Dark Shadows" TV series, will perform at the Barter Playhouse in separate one-man shows.

Stutts will present "A Journey through the Mind . . . Edgar Allan Poe" June 6-23. Frid will perform in "Shakespearean Odyssey" June 27-July 14.

Stutts played Poe in the PBS film, "With Poe at Midnight," which is the basis of his stage show. He has been appearing as Poe since the 1970s at regional theaters, performing arts centers and off-Broadway.

The Shakespearean program developed by Frid will include drama and comedy from the master playwright's most celebrated masterpieces.

Reservations can be made by telephoning 628-3991 locally or toll-free 1-800-572-2081.
