LET'S STOP POLLUTING CHESAPEAKE BAY

THE POLLUTION in Chesapeake Bay is terrible. Legislation should be passed to stop the factories from dumping trash and dangerous chemicals into it.

Maybe if people became more educated about it, they would do more to help the bay. Some ways to learn about the Chesapeake Bay are going to the Science Museum of Western Virginia and attending a live-animal program at the Chesapeake Bay touch-tank, or to the library and reading books about the subject.

The Chesapeake Bay is an issue we all have to worry about, because what happens to it could affect our everyday lives. ELANA FOX ROANOKE
