MCDONALD'S BOMB BLAST HURTS NO ONE

No one was injured when a bomb exploded in the restroom at a suburban Washington McDonald's restaurant, police said. However, patrons and employees were ordered to evacuate the McDonald's at Manaport Shopping Center because of fumes from the blast Tuesday evening.

Fire damage was limited to the restroom, but a large amount of food and packaging was destroyed because of possible contamination, spokesman Tim Hatwick said.
