SMITHFIELD COS. BUYS MAIL ORDER OPERATION

The Smithfield Cos., owner of Bunker Hill Foods of Bedford and Smithfield Ham & Products, has purchased Fin 'n Feather mail order catalog operations from Epicurean Eatables Inc. of St. Charles, Ill. The smoked meat mail order catalog operation will be moved to Smithfield.
