VINTON MAN PLACES FIRST IN REGIONAL TRACK MEET

Michael LaBrie, 30, of Vinton, took first place in high hurdles at the Southeastern Masters track and field competition, held recently in Raleigh, N.C.

He will advance to the national meet in Knoxville, Tenn., in June.
