Jessie Wilson Robertson, age 75, died May 24, 1990, at the V.A. Medical Center, Salem. Surviving are his wife, Gracie Blankenship Robertson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and James Reynolds, Martinsville; Virginia and Mike Austin, Rocky Mount; four sons and daughters-in-law, J. W. and Doraine Robertson, Steve and Delores Robertson, William Earl Robertson, all of Glade Hill; David and Cheryl Robertson, Rocky Mount; Vicky G. Robertson, Rocky Mount; four sisters, Viola Campbell, Catherine Campbell, Nanny Campbell, all of Glade Hill, Beulah Meeks, Rocky Mount; one brother, Lewis Robertson, Rocky Mount; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Camp, Rocky Mount; Lizzie Robertson, Wirtz; one brother-in-law, Joe Henry Meeks, Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren, Cynthia Martin, Eric Reynolds, Landon Robertson, Jarret Robertson, Angela Austin, Julian Austin and Lorrie Ann Robertson, four stepgrandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Lynch Chapel with the Rev. Richard Harrell officiating. Interment will follow at the Blankenship Family Cemetery near Dugwell. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Friday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends desiring to do so may make memorials to the Glade Hill Rescue Squad or the Furnace Creek Baptist Church.
